Hah. I'm back.Before i begin, i better warn you that it's gonna be a rather long post.Ok, moving on.

Just came back from the hospital, brother had neck spasms. Just watching him yell in pain made my neck hurt too. When we got to the hospital, we had to wait for 1+hr! I was like. What?! (We were in the A & E department btw) I was thinking if emergency cases had to wait for over an hour, won't the non-emergency cases have to wait like.. overnight if they had something? Oh man. 1 hr 40mins to be exact. =.= AND you know why? It's because some ppl who only have a slight headache are in the A & E... Like What?! Just pop panadol dude. Problem solved. Why go make someone who is seriously in need of medical attention wait 1 hr??

Ok, then just as we were sending my older brother to the hospital, my younger brother was on the way home in the taxi coz he had diarrhea and felt nauseous. He later puked twice. =.= Plus, my mum and i just recovered from stomach flu recently. Stupid bug. pfft.

Okay. Enough of that. Since it's 4 days to 2009, i shall reflect on this year. :)

I must say Year 2008 has been a real experience for me. Stepping into Sec 3 wasn't as easy as I had thought. New Subjects. New Classmates. New Leadership Roles. Yeah you get the picture. Thank God there wasn't SYF. Aacademically, first 2 Terms were rather bad. 3rd term was even worse. Thankfully, after much hard work, i managed to maintain my position in Term 4. Phew.

Looking back, i have really learnt A LOT. Not only did i learn how to manage my time well, I learnt about the personalities of different people, how to work with them. More importantly, I learnt a lot about leadership. Together with THE Team 'o8! I have managed to maintain CMC's reputation. We've been through a lot together and I thank you guys for sticking through thick and thin. Thanks GUYS! Irwin, Joel, Jun Hoe, Alan. You guys rock! Seriously. 2009 will be a greater year for CMC! :)

Hmm.. I shall thank people as well.

3-3/4-3! (What a year guys! Sorry, it would be too long if i thank the whole lot of you. But you guys rock!)

HAHA! My first time blogging so late. Just helped my dad sign up a facebook account. LOL. Even my mum has one now. So to all "Grown-Ups" out there.. You've got NO excuse not to have one. Well, you don't have to have 100+ friends. My mum has 5. XD

WON'T U JUST LOWER DOWN YOUR VOLUME? YOUR SINGING IS HORRIBLE! You remind me of Benedict. Just the singing part. =D jkjk. That's not the point. IT'S 12.56AM. WAY PAST 10PM. OTHERS NEED TO SLEEP MAN. STOP YOUR SINGING AND YOUR LAUGHTER AND DO SOMETHING QUIET OR CLOSE THOSE WINDOWS OF YOURS! I KNOW THEY'RE SOUND PROOF! =.= I'VE ENOUGH OF YOUR CHILD SINGING HSM SONGS EVERY DAY(AND IT'S JUST AS HORRIBLE) NOW IT'S YOUR TURN! SHOW SOME EXAMPLE PLEASE! D:

Ok Done. Sorry readers, you can skip that part if you want. I just needed to release my frustration. OH. By the time you read this you would have read that whole part so nvm. ignore that. I'm just frustrated.

Anyway, I'm proud to have finished 60% of my holiday homework. I'm left with E-Maths and English. Ah.. i'm gonna finish reading my 4 books. CYA!

Ah. Back. OAL Camp was fun.. other than when it rained. This time i was facilitating, with 4 other Sec 3s and 2 JC ppl who left on the first night. =.= Anyway, we didn't know we were the one running the camp and we kept on asking the teachers what to do. Instead, they were the ones asking us what we were doing next... Imagine: 5 Sec 3s running a camp for 47 Sec 2s. Planning on the spot. Yeah.. get the picture now?

So there we were, running the camp like crazy. I think we did rather well considering we only had 5 ppl as compared to 10+ last year. This is how I spent my 3D2N.

Day 1 (2Dec)
0800 - 1900(Yes..11 Hours): Land Expedition! Haha.. it felt great going the second time, this time being a facilitator. In short, we travelled to our campsite, Changi Coast Adventure Camp, by foot. Yes. Foot, or feet. We confiscated their CHINESE map before they set off. During the walk, we ~~tortured them~~ created scenarios and made them backtrack. We played Scissors,Paper, Stone with them and we owned them!! I never knew i was so good at it. :D Shan't elaborate. *evil laughter*I was supposed to follow Group 2 but I followed Group 4 with Irwin in the end coz the JC ppl wanted to follow Group 2. Group 4 made us have lunch at 2 plus. =.= They actually told us they were having lunch at Bedok and when we finally arrived, they told us they were going to look around for food. Irwin and I was like... WHAT? You didn't actually plan where to eat? Before lunch they had actually made us walk the highway and wet our shoes. pfft. Then it rained at 5+ if i'm not wrong. Ran to the bus stop and stoned there for 30+ mins. Then we decided to run to our campsite when the rain subsided. Mistake Number One. The rain poured even heavier and we were drenched. The run was scary. There was lightning and we were trying to keep as low as possible. Then while we were running some truck drove past and. SPLASH. GRRR. Stupid Truck. Mistake Number Two. I was holding on to Irwin's shoe bag containing our newspaper and the group list with my right hand. Another Truck came and Splash. After running, we finally arrived at the campsite, drenched.

1900 - 2000: Dinner! How i missed the food there. Too bad it was a different person cooking. Less Oily, but Less Tasy. It's my 4th time there. And i'm kinda sick-yet-happy-to-be-back of that place.

2000+: REFLECTIONS. Lol.. the dreaded activity of the camp. Good thing facilitators didn't have to do reflections. Then the JC ppl went back and i went back to Group 2.

2400: Lights out.

Day 2 (3Dec)

0300: Sentry Duty/Making sure everyone was sleeping. When i was walking around with Li Ren, i saw lights on in one of the bunks and thought it was one of the Sec 2s. I was about to budge in when Li Ren stopped me and told me they were NTU ppl. Lol. Anyway, they were making so much noise that it woke me up a couple of times. Speaking about being considerate. =.=

0615: PT. WAHAHAHA. Li Ren is a sadist =)

0700: Breakfast

0800: Kayaking! I was looking forward to this activity the most. BUT 3 PPL HAD TO GET INJURED/SEASICK and i had to come back up on shore to take care of them. zzz. Slept while waiting for the rest to come back. Then Joel smsed that he was coming. A while later he told me he was in ~~heaven~~ Swensen while I was stuck in BUNK A, CCAC doing nothing. The canteen aunties even brought our share of food to the Kayak-ers so we had to wait 30mins more to have our lunch.

1500: They finally came back. I was massaging Irwin's back coz he hurt it. Then he fell asleep. LOL.

1600: Planning for Sec 2 Camp/ Sec 1 BURST 2009. We sec 3s were just slacking during that whole period.

1800: DINNER and Cheer Presentation

1900: Skit

2000: Reflection

2200: Supper. We wanted to perform a skit. But BONG DAR didn't want to. Details of the skit can be found in JoelYowZhiJian's Blog.

2400: Lights out

Day 3(5Dec)
LAST DAY. Bah. I don't feel like listing down hour by hour.

Was supposed to sentry duty but i couldn't wake up. LOL. Only Li Ren did. He was supposed to do PT with us too but he pangseh-ed us. So in the end Joel and I led PT. Zong joined in later. Had breakfast then started Belaying School. Ahhh... "Xiang Dang Nian". We finished later than expected so we had to rush through Area Cleaning. Some Christian Youth Ministry was having camp and we had to clear ASAP. Well, we didnt actually clean up properly coz they were being impatient and went in while we were still cleaning. Then, we had lunch and we saw Matt Aw(He was having church camp) Then it began raining. The road was flooded and Groups 1,3-4 + Zong, Joel and Irwin took the first bus back. Group 2, Li Ren and i stayed. Before we left, li ren found a coin and made a wish, then flicked the coin into the puddle of water. Ran to the bus and got my shoes soaked yet again. Then our van came and we left for School. Shan't elaborate what we talked about in the van.. later i KANA scolded. LOL. =D

That's how i spent 3D2N.I must say this OAL Camp was rather slack as compared to 2007's. I wasn't really tired when i came back. I'm going next year again. I Hope. =D
Overall i feel that the OAL-To-Bes didn't put in all of their effort into this camp. We didn't see any outstanding one. I hope they will do well next year... I was a little disappointed with the CMC ppl. I hope they will treat this as a learning experience for them.

*Slaps face* Ouch. Back to Reality. Homework. Gahh. It's December Already. Better start preparing for next year.. I don't want to do badly for Prelim 1. I foresee next year's CNY: Eating Chinese New Year goodies while mugging for Prelim 1. HAHA.

Oh.. One more thing: Stupid Mosquitoes. Pfft.
